Serenity was one of the five Force Priestesses, mystical female avatars who dwelt on the Wellspring of Life at the center of the galaxy and embodied the connection between the Living Force and the eternal Cosmic Force. Often speaking for her four cousins, who represented Anger, Joy, Sadness, and Confusion, she was mutable in form and able to retain her consciousness beyond physical death.
Near the end of the Clone Wars in 19 BBY, Serenity and the priestesses tested Grand Master Yoda, setting him trials on their world and sending him onward to Moraband before deeming him worthy of the great gift of immortality and the training that would be provided by Qui-Gon Jinn.
