Founding Contributor Grants Ledger
Purpose
This document lists the individuals named by the Creator as Founding Contributors per Layer 12 of the Constitution, with proposed Credit Grant amounts and public justifications for each. The list is published for transparency and accountability.
The Creator names Founding Contributors by prerogative; the community does not vote on the list. The check on the Creator's authority is the requirement that each naming include a public justification that stands on permanent record.
Principles
- Individually calibrated: Each Grant is sized to the specific contribution, not a uniform amount
- Permanent: Grants do not decay
- Non-transferable: Grants cannot be Kudosed
- Subject to normal Power mechanics: Grants convert to Power through the same curve, subject to the same caps and ceilings
- Bounded cohort: Anticipated 6–15 individuals
- Transparent justification: Every named person has public reasoning on record

This total should be bounded by the principle that Founding Contributor Grants in aggregate represent recognition of real foundational work but do not create a permanent governance bloc that could dominate early voting.
Review Process
During the comment period:
- The list is published in this appendix
- Community members may review the named individuals and justifications
- Comments on specific justifications are welcome
- The Creator may revise the list during active comment period (adding, removing, or adjusting Grant amounts)
- Revisions are reflected in subsequent digest responses and in the final pre-freeze version
At freeze (Day 15), the list becomes locked for ratification. Post-ratification, the list is fixed permanently.
Notes on Responsibilities
Founding Contributors:
- Are full platform participants under all platform rules
- Are not exempt from disciplinary processes
- Do not automatically hold Team membership in any Franchise
- Must earn ongoing Power through ongoing contribution
- May contribute in any capacity they choose after launch
Founding status is visible on their Profile as permanent recognition, but does not confer operational privilege beyond the Grant itself.
Integrity Commitments
The Creator commits:
- Only individuals who made genuinely material pre-launch contributions will be named
- Grant sizes will reflect actual contribution scale, not relationship or favoritism
- Public justifications will be honest and specific, not generic praise
- Response to community critique of specific Grants will be substantive, not defensive
This Ledger is a template pending population. The Creator will complete it with specific names, amounts, and justifications before public publication, and will iterate based on community input during the comment period.
