Lady Laena Velaryon is a member of House Velaryon featured in HBO's House of the Dragon. The second-born child of Lord Corlys Velaryon and Princess Rhaenys Targaryen and the younger sister of Laenor Velaryon, she is a celebrated dragonrider who claims the ancient dragon Vhagar.
Once considered as a bride for King Viserys I, Laena instead weds Prince Daemon Targaryen and bears him two daughters, Baela and Rhaena, living for a time in Pentos.
