Tommen Baratheon is the youngest child of Queen Cersei Lannister and, publicly, of King Robert Baratheon, in the HBO series Game of Thrones — in truth a product of Cersei's incest with her brother Jaime Lannister. A gentle, mild-mannered boy, he ascends the Iron Throne as King of the Andals following the death of his elder brother Joffrey at the Purple Wedding.
Married to Margaery Tyrell, Tommen proves easily swayed and falls under the influence of the High Sparrow and the Faith Militant. After his mother Cersei destroys the Great Sept of Baelor with wildfire — killing Margaery and many others — a grief-stricken Tommen takes his own life by leaping from a window of the Red Keep.
