C1-10P, universally known as "Chopper," was a cantankerous C1-series astromech droid manufactured by Industrial Automaton. Decades past his intended service life, he became one of the most recognizable members of the Spectres, the rebel cell led by Hera Syndulla and Kanan Jarrus, and served as the dedicated mechanic of their ship, the Ghost.
Chopper originally served in the Navy of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, taking part in the Ryloth campaign until his starfighter was shot down and he was taken in by a young Hera Syndulla. The two formed a lasting bond, and Chopper followed her into the fight against the Galactic Empire, maintaining the Ghost so thoroughly that only he could fully operate its systems.
Alongside crewmates Ezra Bridger, Sabine Wren, and Garazeb Orrelios, Chopper took part in countless raids and missions, later joining the Phoenix Cell and the wider Alliance to Restore the Republic. His contributions were honored when the rebels named their Atollon outpost Chopper Base. Known for his argumentative and mischievous streak, he nonetheless remained fiercely loyal, staying at Hera's side through the Galactic Civil War and into the New Republic era.
