Caluan Ematt was a human soldier who rose from lieutenant in the Alliance to Restore the Republic to general in the Resistance across decades of galactic conflict. Born on the Core World Champat in 20 BBY, he commanded the Shrikes, a recon unit that identified and secured new Rebel bases, and was a trusted friend of Leia Organa.
Ematt served on the Endor strike team during the Battle of Endor, aided Han Solo on missions such as the salvage of the Graceful Promising, and later helped Organa build the Resistance, escorting her to recruit Poe Dameron. Promoted to general after the Battle of Starkiller Base, he was present at the Battle of Crait. He was portrayed by Andrew Jack in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.
