Chewbacca

Chewbacca, known affectionately as Chewie, was a Wookiee warrior, smuggler, mechanic, and pilot from the forest planet Kashyyyk. Born in the city of Rwookrrorro during the High Republic Era, he became a Wookiee military leader and fought across four galactic conflicts: the Clone Wars, the Galactic Civil War, the Cold War, and the First Order-Resistance War.

Enslaved under the Galactic Empire, Chewbacca was freed by Han Solo and swore a life debt that made the two lifelong companions and co-pilots of the Millennium Falcon. Alongside Solo he joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic, fighting in pivotal engagements from the Battle of Yavin to the Battle of Endor, and decades later served the Resistance against the First Order. He was survived by his wife Mallatobuck and son Lumpawaroo on Kashyyyk.
