Leia Skywalker Organa Solo was a Force-sensitive human female politician, Jedi, and military leader. Born in 19 BBY as the daughter of Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and Senator Padme Amidala of Naboo, she was adopted by Senator Bail Organa and Queen Breha Organa of Alderaan and raised as Princess Leia Organa, twin sister of Luke Skywalker.
She served the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire, later marrying the Corellian smuggler Han Solo and helping to found the New Republic. Adopting the military rank of general, she led the Resistance against the First Order, trained in the Jedi arts under her brother Luke, and mentored Rey before her death on Ajan Kloss in 35 ABY.
