Born on the Mid Rim world of Kenari as a boy named Kassa, he was rescued and adopted by the salvagers Maarva and Clem Andor and raised on Ferrix. Recruited into the rebellion through Luthen Rael's network, he ultimately led the Rogue One team that stole the Death Star plans, sacrificing his life to help secure the Rebellion's first decisive strike against the Galactic Empire.
