Dengar, also known as Dengar the Demolisher, was a Corellian human bounty hunter who operated from the early days of the Clone Wars through the Galactic Civil War and beyond. A former swoop-bike racer and gladiator, he became one of the galaxy's most enduring hunters, renowned for his hardened resilience and skill in hand-to-hand combat.
During the Clone Wars he ran with the syndicate Krayt's Claw alongside hunters such as Boba Fett and Bossk, and took contracts from the Hutts on worlds like Nal Hutta. In the Galactic Civil War he was among the bounty hunters hired by Darth Vader to track Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon, though he repeatedly lost the prize to his rival Boba Fett and clashed with Chewbacca more than once.
Weathered but persistent, Dengar continued his trade after the Empire's defeat at the Battle of Endor. This Overview summarizes source material under CC BY-SA; specific engagements and dates are detailed in the Timeline.
