Pre Vizsla was a human male Mandalorian warrior of Clan Vizsla and a descendant of the ancient Mand'alor Tarre Vizsla, wielder of the Darksaber. During the final years of the Galactic Republic he led the terrorist organization known as the Death Watch, seeking to restore Mandalore's warrior heritage and overthrow the pacifist Duchess Satine Kryze.
Publicly serving as the Governor of Concordia, Vizsla secretly built the Death Watch, allied with Count Dooku and the Confederacy, and later joined Maul's Shadow Collective. He briefly seized power as ruler of Mandalore before Maul challenged him to a duel and executed him.
