Hilda Bianca was a woman of Lake-town and a market trader who sold Athelas, introduced in Peter Jackson's Hobbit films. She was among the first to notice Thorin's company being smuggled into the town, and helped conceal the Dwarves from the guards.
She survived Smaug's destruction of Lake-town, pledged her loyalty to Bard, and sheltered with the refugees in the ruins of Dale. During the Battle of the Five Armies she rallied the women of Dale to take up arms and fight the invading Orcs. A character created for the films, she appears in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013) and The Battle of the Five Armies (2014).
