Dwalin is a Dwarf of Durin's Folk in Tolkien's legendarium, played by Graham McTavish in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit film trilogy. A renowned and fiercely loyal warrior, he is the brother of Balin and the youngest son of Fundin, and one of Thorin Oakenshield's staunchest supporters.
He is a member of Thorin and Company on the quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug, and he survives the Battle of Five Armies to live long in Erebor.
