C-3PO

C-3PO was a 3PO-series protocol droid fluent in over six million forms of communication and programmed for etiquette and translation. Rebuilt from spare parts by a young Anakin Skywalker on Tatooine, he developed a fussy, worry-prone personality over many decades of operation.

Alongside his counterpart R2-D2, C-3PO served Padme Amidala during the Clone Wars and later Bail Organa aboard the Tantive IV. During the Galactic Civil War he aided Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, and Han Solo in the Rebel Alliance's struggle against the Galactic Empire.

C-3PO continued to serve the Skywalker and Organa families into the era of the New Republic and the Resistance, remembered for roles ranging from persuading the Ewoks at the Battle of Endor to translating Sith writings during the final campaign against the Sith Eternal.
