Gregar Typho was a human male from Naboo who served as a captain of the Royal Naboo Security Forces and head of security for Senator Padme Amidala during the Separatist Crisis and the Clone Wars. He followed his uncle, Quarsh Panaka, into the security forces, losing his left eye fighting battle droids during the battle to retake Naboo and wearing an eyepatch thereafter.
Devoted to Amidala's safety, Typho employed decoys and disguises to protect her, including the ruse that saved her from an assassination attempt on Coruscant. He accompanied the senator on diplomatic missions and remained a steadfast, Jedi-respecting protector throughout the war.
