Jek was a clone trooper of the Grand Army of the Republic, grown on Kamino from the genetic template of Jango Fett, who served during the Clone Wars. As a shock trooper in the Coruscant Guard's diplomatic service, he accompanied Jedi Grand Master Yoda on a mission to the coral moon Rugosa in 22 BBY.
Rising to the rank of Clone Captain and retraining as a scout in the Ranger Corps, Jek later served at the Battle of Kashyyyk under Commander Gree. When Order 66 was issued in 19 BBY he turned on Yoda, the Jedi he had once protected, but was cut down before he could carry out the execution. He was later established as the clone killed alongside Gree in Revenge of the Sith.
