Nala Se was a Kaminoan female doctor and scientist who served as the Chief Medical Scientist of Kamino. One of the primary engineers of the Grand Army of the Republic, she helped create the clone troopers and, at Darth Tyranus' behest, oversaw the installation of the inhibitor chips carrying the secret Clone Protocol 66, whose secrecy she then guarded throughout the Clone Wars.
Though she treated battle-wounded clones, she held a ruthless view of them as Kaminoan property. In the Imperial era she covertly protected the young clone Omega before the Empire relocated her to a secret facility on Wayland, where she died destroying her own cloning research.
