Ecgláf is an elderly Rohan farmer created for Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. Taking refuge in the Hornburg, he is handed a spear and pressed into the defence of the fortress against Saruman's Uruk-hai, fighting in the Battle of Helm's Deep. A minor character invented for the film, he is non-canonical.
