Leowyn is a young villager of Rohan featured in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. Born in Aldburg and eager to fight as a shieldmaiden, she disguised herself as a soldier, much as Eowyn did, and rode to the relief of Minas Tirith, fighting at the Battle of the Pelennor Fields where she was most likely slain. A non-canonical character created for the film trilogy, she also featured in The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game.
