Bacara, identified by the clone designation CC-1138, was a clone trooper officer of the Grand Army of the Republic who held the rank of Clone Marshal Commander during the Clone Wars. Cloned on Kamino from the genetic template of the bounty hunter Jango Fett, he trained with a Journeyman Protector and the Advanced Recon Commandos before taking the name Bacara.
He commanded the 21st Nova Corps, an elite division also known as the Galactic Marines, and served as the second-in-command of Jedi General Ki-Adi-Mundi. Known for aggressive tactics and a strict, militant temperament, he was noted for leading his troops from the front and wearing distinctive modified Phase II armor suited to harsh environments.
During the Outer Rim Sieges, Bacara and the 21st Nova Corps fought the Separatists on Mygeeto. When Supreme Chancellor Palpatine issued Order 66, Bacara and his men turned on Ki-Adi-Mundi and killed him. He subsequently served the newly established Galactic Empire.
