Davits Draven was a human male general and intelligence officer of the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. Born on Pendarr III around 46 BBY, he served in the Galactic Republic's Military Intelligence during the Clone Wars before joining the rebellion, where he was trained as a field operative by Airen Cracken.
Blunt, pragmatic, and no-nonsense, Draven became the leading Rebel Alliance Intelligence Service officer stationed at the Great Temple on Yavin 4. He served as the case officer and handler for the agent Cassian Andor, whom he regarded as an ill-disciplined soldier of great potential. His willingness to make unpopular decisions earned him the respect, if not always the affection, of Alliance High Command.
Draven oversaw Operation Fracture, the effort to investigate the Empire's secret Death Star superweapon and to locate the scientist Galen Erso. He directed the extraction of Jyn Erso from an Imperial labor camp, work that set in motion the mission to steal the Death Star plans at Scarif.
