Shaak Ti was a Force-sensitive Togruta female Jedi Master, remembered as one of the final members of the Jedi High Council before the fall of the Jedi Order. Born on the Togruta homeworld of Shili, she was recognized early as Force-sensitive, trained on Coruscant, and rose through the ranks of the Order to become a Jedi Master noted for her wisdom, teaching, and skill in lightsaber combat.
During the Clone Wars she held the rank of Jedi General in the Grand Army of the Republic. She is best known for her long posting on Kamino, where she oversaw the production and training of the Republic's clone soldiers and became a mentor and protector to the clones, clashing with the Kaminoan leadership over their treatment. She was drawn into the conspiracy surrounding the clones' inhibitor chips through the case of the ARC trooper Fives.
