Bregalad, known in the Common Tongue as Quickbeam, was a comparatively young Ent of Skinbark's people who guarded rowan trees near Isengard. Known for his hastiness, he was the first Ent to resolve to attack Isengard after Saruman's Orcs destroyed his groves, and he watched over Merry and Pippin during the Entmoot.
He played an important role in the Destruction of Isengard, fighting alongside Treebeard and nearly capturing Saruman. In Peter Jackson's The Two Towers, a non-speaking 'Rowan Ent' is widely taken by fans to represent Quickbeam.
